PNO Raised $640 for the Leukemia/Lymphoma Society!

Per Gloria, The LPCP Parents Night Out had the biggest turnout ever!!!! The PNO event raised $640 for the Leukemia/Lymphoma Society! Way to Go Everyone! Team Shawn would like to give a big "Thank You" to all those who participated in the event! Team Shawn would like to give a bigger "Thank You" to all those volunteers who assisted with the event!

LPCP Parents Night Out

The LPCP Teachers will be hosting a Parents Night Out this
Friday, December 2, from 6:00 to 8:30.

Leave your kids with us and enjoy some time shopping, having a quiet dinner, enjoying First Night Leesburg, or just taking a break!

Sign up sheets are outside the 4's classroom. If you are an Alumni of LPCP, just send Gloria an email if your child/children plan on attending, and she will get them on the list.
The cost is $15 for one child or $25 per family.

Once again, all proceeds will be donated to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society in memory of Shawn Haines.

Fight Cancer & Be "Green"!

Earth Day is around the corner. Here is a great way to fight cancer and be "Green" at the same time--Keep saving those aluminum cans! Last fall, Team Shawn turned in 64lbs. of aluminum cans to the recyclers and put $32 towards The Leukemia/Lymphoma Society. So keep bringing your aluminum cans (& those new aluminum beer bottles also) to Gloria's if you're in the Leesburg, VA area. 827 Bellview Ct. in the Exeter neighborhood! Such a simple thing to do to wipe out cancer and excess waste!

Parents Night Out & Bunkers Night Results

The results are in! Team Shawn made $515 during their Parents Night Out event at Leesburg Presbyterian Church Preschool! Bunker's Night brought in $700! Way to go Team Shawn!!! Thanks to everyone who was there and who donated to a very worthy cause near and dear to our hearts!!!

Cool Jewelry & Fight Cancer!

Gloria will be hosting a Lia Sophia jewelry show at her house as a fundraiser for Team Shawn and the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. There will be 8 raffles held and all the proceeds from the raffle go directly to Team Shawn and you get a chance to win free or significantly reduced price jewelry. If you're not a jewelry person...no worries...Gloria is not either, and there is absolutely no pressure to purchase jewelry, but please come and join us for food, fun, and girl time. Daughters are also welcome as Colleen will be here too and would enjoy some girls.

IHOP Donation for Pancakes-March 1, 2011

You need a good breakfast to start the day! March 1st--Metro DC IHOP's including our Leesburg, VA restaurant location will be accepting donations for The Leukemia/Lymphoma Society. Make a donation & receive a short stack of pancakes for each one in your party! MMmm! Gloria will be volunteering there from 3pm-10pm. So come by and say "Hi" to our team leader! Remember-- Breakfast for dinner is a great option too!
